With constant updates and enhancements to cloud services coming on a frequent schedule, running old school on-premises infrastructure does not scale for meeting the requirements of the digital transformation happening in many businesses. At Microsoft Ignite in November of 2019, a number of exciting and relevant features for this context was announced – many of which will be showcased on NIC 2020.

Azure Arc is one of the most exciting news coming out from Microsoft`s yearly Ignite conference at the end of 2019. A number of enhancements around related services such as backup and monitoring is expected to show up as the services matures.
Another very exciting feature announced at Ignite was support for PowerShell in Azure Functions, enabling the modern IT Pro to deliver event-based automation integrated into monitoring, deployment and a number of other scenarios.
